What is XUMO?
Xumo Play is your destination for free LIVE and on-demand streaming entertainment. With over 300 different channels and tens of thousands of movie and TV titles to choose from, you won’t get bored. Tune in for newly launched music channels, breaking news, epic fails, stand up comedy, sports, news coverage, and more. Select channels as “Favorite” for an experience tailored to you. Stay up to date, but most of all, stay entertained with Xumo Play.
Where is Xumo Play available?
Xumo Play is available in the United States and Canada (via Rogers devices).
What can I watch on Xumo Play?
Xumo Play has over 300 channels for you to stream, including channels from popular digital and television networks such as ABC News Live, NBC News NOW, HISTORY, PGA TOUR, FailArmy, FREE Movies, Food52 and many more!
Does Xumo Play require a subscription?
All Xumo Play channels and Xumo-powered applications are completely free to watch and stream from any device.

What devices is Xumo Play available on?
Xumo Play or Xumo-powered applications are available for free on:

Xumo Play is not loading correctly. What do I do?
Xumo Play requires a consistent internet connection in order to work properly. Depending on the device you are using, this connection can grow unstable at any given time. Due to this, we recommend you restart your internet at your router, wait 60 seconds and plug it back in. Then, please unplug your device, wait 60 seconds and plug it back in. This should give your device and Xumo Play time to reestablish a connection.
Why does Xumo Play have commercials?
Xumo Play has commercials or ad breaks so that we can keep our service available for free for viewers like you!
How often are channels updated?
Some channels are updated multiple times every day (like news), and others are updated less frequently; it all depends on how often our channel partners publish new content. You can be sure that the Xumo Play lineup will be updated as soon as new content is available, though!
Does Xumo Play have live streams?
Yes. Some channels, including ABC News Live, beIN SPORTS XTRA, HSN, NBC News NOW, QVC and others, have linear, live streams for you to enjoy for free. Others, like PeopleTV, feature select live events such as the Red Carpet at the Oscars.
How often are new channels added?
We strive to add new channels every month. We are constantly working with new digital and traditional networks to bring you the channels you love. Check back frequently for updates about new channels.
Does Xumo Play track and keep my personal information?
We use the personal information we collect to analyze traffic and user activities on our Services, identify popular areas or features, and optimize and personalize the Services. This includes linking information gathered across through various methods to provide you with a consistent experience on our Services. For example, we may suggest content or titles that may be of interest, organize your guide to show the most relevant channels or titles, and customize notifications or advertisements or other marketing communications on our Services or third-party sites and services.

We may also use the information we collect for the following purposes:

How can I set parental controls on Xumo Play?
Currently, this feature is unavailable. However, the Xumo Play product and engineering teams are working hard to add in new features, so check back frequently for updates.
Are there any videos in other languages besides English?
Yes. Xumo Play currently has multiple channels that contain foreign-language content. Check your apps listings for more details.
Can I create a playlist? Can I save videos to watch later? Can I watch Xumo Play channels offline?
Unfortunately, these features are unavailable at the moment. However, the Xumo team is working hard to bring features like these to you soon!

Smart TV

How do I get Xumo Play on my smart TV?
If you have a VIZIO, Samsung, Hisense or Xclass smart TV, you can search for Xumo Play where you download your apps and install it from there.
How do I cast Xumo Play from my mobile device?
If you have a Chromecast-enabled or VIZIO SmartCast TV, you will see a ‘cast’ icon in the upper right-hand corner when accessing Xumo Play on your mobile device via our mobile app. If you have an iOS mobile device, you can AirPlay to your AppleTV for convenience, as well.
Can I customize the closed caption settings on my videos?
Yes, you can! Press the ‘OK’ button while watching a video, then move over to the ‘CC’ button to toggle closed captioning. For more controls, please go to the App Settings menu.

LG Channels

Are Xumo Channels available on LG Channels
Yes, some channels powered by Xumo are available on LG Channels.

Mobile

Is Xumo Play available for iOS and Android?
Sure is! Please visit the App Store or Play Store to download Xumo Play for free.
How do I make sure I have the latest version of the app?
Check your app updates! If you still aren’t sure, visit your app store and check the description to make sure the app you have installed on your mobile device matches what you’re reading in the app store.
Can I still watch videos with sound while my phone is muted?
Yes! All videos will be muted when you launch Xumo Play unless you have your volume turned on. This is to limit disruptions to your surroundings (and not scare you).

Sony Integration

When and where will this service be available?
It will be available first in the US. Eligible TV models and launch timing to be announced.
How many channels are available in this service?
Viewers can enjoy more than 290 free streaming channels. If you need more details around which channels are available, please see our available channels list.
Does this streaming service know which channels or videos I will be watching?
Sony does not collect any viewing data about streaming channels. The service provider (Xumo) may collect some data about viewing.
