What is LG Channels?
LG Channels, powered by XUMO, is newly available for free on 2019 LG smart TVs running webOS 4.5 and above in Brazil, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and the UK! Enjoy today’s most popular streaming channels for free out of the box. All you need is an Internet connection. New channels will be added on a monthly basis.
How do I get to or connect to LG Channels?
First, make sure you have accepted each of the terms & conditions during the setup process of your LG smart TV. Then, visit the LG Content Store. Once there, search for “LG Channel” and click install! If LG Channel does not show up or work properly, please make sure your firmware is up to date by checking LG’s support page.
How many channels are available and what can I watch on LG Channel?
LG Channels launched with 20 free channels. New channels will be added on a monthly basis. The full line-up is available here.
How much does LG Channel cost?
LG Channels is free.
How do I find my LG Channels’ Client ID?
Your alphanumeric Client ID is located in the LG Channels settings on your LG smart TV. You will often need to provide this with your support inquiries.
What do I do if I see the error message, “There may be an issue with your Internet connection”?
Please try restarting your internet at either the router or modem. Then, please go into your TV’s general settings and navigate to “channels” and toggle LG Channels off and on, again. Then, unplug your TV once more and plug it back in for a fresh start.
What do I do if I see the error message 9815?
Please try restarting your Internet at either the router or modem followed by unplugging and plugging your TV back in. This should give LG Channels a fresh start. If this does not resolve your issue, please go to your TV’s general settings and navigate to “channels” and toggle LG Channels off and on, again. Then, unplug your TV once more and plug it back in for a fresh start.
Why am I getting a blank or black screen?
Please try restarting your Internet at either the router or modem followed by unplugging and plugging your TV back in. This should give LG Channels a fresh start. If this does not resolve your issue, please go to your TV’s general settings and navigate to “channels” and toggle LG Channels off and on, again. Then, unplug your TV once more and plug it back in for a fresh start.
I can see video playing, but am unable to view the content full-screen.

How do I add, remove or restrict a channel?
You can adjust the controls for each channel by using the webOS channel manager located in the TV’s general settings.
How do I go back to the LG Channels main menu?
On your remote control, click the ‘back’ icon that is located about halfway down on the left. Keep clicking until you reach LG Channels Home.
How can I add favourite channels?
On the main page, press the Star Button to add a channel to your favourites’ list.
I accidentally deactivated LG Channels. How do I reactivate LG Channels?
Visit the LG Content Store, search for “LG Channels” and click install!
